Parkview Health Carew Medical Park

Carew Medical Park includes 250,000 square feet for physician offices, ambulatory surgery, radiology, a women’s center, pharmacy, cardiac cath labs, and laboratory services. The facility has two structures connected by an elevated enclosed walkway above a new parkway. The site contained 8 acres, which required a 750 car parking structure and a 100 car surface lot for cardiology.

A new main vehicular artery was developed linking Parkview Memorial Hospital to Carew Medical Park and a new entrance off Lake Street to the south. Innovative features included an atrium for ambulatory care registration and a food court. The atrium is positioned between the parking structure and physician offices utilizing natural light from the skylights above.This project received two design awards for creativity and landscaping design.
