Major Health Partners Intelliplex Professional Building

In 2018, Major Health Partners and ARTEKNA teamed to create the recently completed, two-story, 21,500 square foot MHP Intelliplex Professional Building. The new facility is on the existing MHP hospital campus within Intelliplex Park in Shelbyville, Indiana. The building was designed using materials and colors developed to correlate with the recently constructed hospital. Using the same brick, similar limestone concepts, and large expanses of glass not only provides a unifying appearance for MHP facilities, it also allows natural light to fill the patient treatment areas.

The first floor of the professional building houses the Sue Ann Wortman Nephrology Center. Sue Ann Wortman was a Morristown, Indiana resident who passed away in 2015. In memory of his late wife, a local philanthropist provided a generous gift to the hospital foundation to ensure others could receive local care for kidney disease. The Nephrology Center houses both an outpatient dialysis center and the nephrology physician practice. MHP is partnering with US Renal to provide the dialysis treatment. The new facility will allow MHP to not only treat active kidney disease, but to provide wellness and preventative measures before the disease occurs.
