Franciscan Health Hospice

Located on the Franciscan St. Francis Heath campus in Indianapolis, Indiana, the new freestanding 23,000 square foot Hospice House fulfills the need for inpatient hospice care serving south-central Indiana. One of the primary goals in the development of the Hospice House was to surround patients, families and visitors in an environment similar to home. Each of the twelve private patient rooms is right-sized to comfortably accommodate those being cared for as well as their family members. Thoughtfully designed amenities such as a chapel for prayer and reflection, a well-appointed kitchen with dining area, multiple inviting family living rooms and a tranquil spa space all contribute to the experience of hospice that supports the Franciscan tradition of providing a sense of dignity and compassion to both the patient and the family during end-of–life care.
