Jane Pauley Community Health Center 16th Street Clinic
The Jane Pauley Community Health Center now has twelve sites across the east side of Indianapolis. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, JPCHC serves the community, "regardless of insurance or income, with an emphasis on integrating medical and behavioral health along with access to various other social services."
For this project, ARTEKNA worked closely with the JPCHC leadership team to develop a design that called for the complete gutting and rework of 7,132 square feet within an existing 1950's office building, while working within the strict time constraint and other criteria dictated by the JPCHC federal grant award from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The newly created buildout includes twelve exam rooms, behavioral health offices, a physician work area with connected conference/community room, a lab, and a centralized nurse work area. The facility includes expansion space for future offices and/or dental space.
