In the 1980’s,
Noblesville began to change from a small town to
the
center of a rapidly growing community of suburban
Indianapolis. In response to this market and the
competition generated by new satellite hospitals
in Hamilton County, Riverview Hospital nearly doubled
its size with this
addition. Outpatient Services were the focus of
the addition centered on a new Outpatient Entrance
and Atrium. New departments include Registration,
Emergency Department, Radiology, Intensive Care,
Maternity, Central Sterile, and a 32-bed Medical/Surgical
Unit. |
